The Ditch Witch Parts Lookup gives customers easy access to detailed parts information and a direct line of communication to dealerships for part verification and pick-list creation.

Vac-Tron Equipment has released their new CS 1270 trailer vac. This new Compact Industrial Vac Series comes standard with a 1,200-gallon debris tank and 580 or 1,000 cfm. It is also available with a hydraulic operated opening and locking rear door, wet/dry filtration cyclone, 30' x 3" suction hose and tool, and 27 HP or 37 HP Kohler gas engine. Options include 24 HP Kohler diesel engine and reverse pressure.
In December, Terex Utilities shipped a Model 330 Auger Drill to Antarctica. Designed to meet the specific needs of a science field team supported by the National Science Foundation, NSF-managed U.S. Antarctic Program, the 330 Auger Drill features a unique mounting configuration and numerous insulation and heating modifications to operate in the extreme environment. The new Auger Drill replaces a Model 330 that has been in use since 1990.

TT Technologies' redesigned Grundopit pit-launched mini directional drill is well suited for difficult fiber-to-the-home and utility service line installations in tight working conditions. The unit is compact, 54 inches long, 43 inches wide and 57 inches tall. The Grundopit delivers 13,489 lbs. of thrust and pull back and 553 ft. lbs. of torque with bore length up to 150 feet. The Grundopit is an ideal entry-level system for utilities, cable industries or as a supplement to larger units.
Terex Utilities and its dealer Xuzhou Handler Special Vehicles Co., Ltd. have signed a letter of intent for Xuzhou to purchase 5,000 units of insulated aerial devices from Terex over a five-year period, with a total value of more than USD$250 million. These products will support the continuing improvement and ongoing adoption of live line work practices in the Chinese public utility sector.

The American Augers DD-240T Midi Rig introduced a whole new design concept in horizontal direction drills to the 2017 International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE). Many of the features that make the 240,000-pound class HDD rig fully configurable are industry firsts in direct response to HDD contractor input gathered by American Augers in an extensive industry survey.
While new technologies have continuously improved utility locating and HDD guidance, the tracking process on HDD bores has remained relatively unchanged since the introduction of horizontal directional drilling.
